Meet our Traveler of the Week: Bridgette Williams
When did you become a healthcare professional and why?
I have been practicing Physical Therapy for almost 24 years. Over the years, my career has given me a sense of purpose and fulfillment in knowing I have made a difference.
What made you go into traveling as an Allied Healthcare professional?
Travel Allied has allowed me the chance to earn a living while visiting new places. It has given me the opportunity to connect with new people and develop a network of professionals of various backgrounds.
What has been your favorite location for traveling so far and why?
Every location is unique within itself. I have enjoyed visiting Charleston, SC and I am currently in Texas. While here, I have visited Dallas, Houston, Tyler and San Antonio.
What is your favorite thing about traveling (the experience, locations, training, etc.)?
My experience with travel allied has pushed me outside of my comfort zone. As a result, I have gained new skills and further independence in my practice as a PTA.
What advice can you give others who are interested in traveling for their healthcare career?
My advice to others seeking to travel is not focus on the monetary aspect. You should thoroughly research the company, find one compatible to your needs and develop a good relationship with your recruiter.
So glad to have you on the Accountable Team. We have some great goodies coming your way!
Safe Travels!!!!
