When did you become a nurse and why?

I've always been an individual that loved helping others. I hated to see people in need and wasn't able to do anything about it. Nursing is about helping the vulnerable, so quite naturally nursing would be the career I would gravitate to.

What made you go into travel nursing?

I love to travel and I love nursing. Why not combine both and get paid while doing it?

What has been your favorite location for travel nursing so far and why?

Albuquerque, New Mexico was definitely my favorite assignment. Such a beautiful culture in itself to explore.

What is your favorite thing about travel nursing (the experience, locations, training, etc.)?

I love to explore different cultures, try new foods and see different places. Growing up, there were different places I've always wanted to travel to. Travel nursing made it POSSIBLE !!!!!

What advice can you give others who are interested in travel nursing?

I would tell them to step out on faith. Yes, the unknown can be terrifying, but exploring life and coming into your own is worth the sacrifice.
